Welcome to Step Out Sis, the podcast where we grow, heal, and walk confidently in God's calling. I am your host, Sharon. And sis, I can't believe we've made it through another season together. A whole season of growth, alignment, healing, and really stepping into who God has called us to be. And as we close this chapter, there is something that's been sitting heavy on my heart. Finishing strong. And sis, before we go any further, you didn't come this far to drop it now. Not perfect, not polished, not pretending you have it all together, but strong. Because finishing strong isn't about having everything figured out. It's about living without regrets. It's about allowing everything you've been through and even what you're still going through to be a testimony of God's grace, his love, and his provision. If he gave you breath today, he gave you purpose today. So finish strong every single day he wakes you up. Because too many of us get right to the edge of a breakthrough and start second-guessing ourselves. We start slowing down, we start shrinking back, and sis, don't sabotage a season God is trying to complete. And what does that really look like? It looks like making things right, forgiving even when it's hard, healing what you've been avoiding, and releasing what God never asks you to carry. And every morning, this is the posture. Lord, what would you have me do today? I want to walk in your will, I want to move in your way, and in everything I do, you get the glory. That's finishing strong, that's maturity, that's alignment. And sis, let me say this. Don't sit on your testimony. Don't hide what God has done for you. Don't downplay what you've come through. Tell it. Tell how God blessed you, how He healed you, how He made a way when there was no way. Because somebody's waiting on your story. Somebody's breakthrough is tied to your obedience. Somebody's hope is connected to your honesty. And let me be real with you. All my life, people have tried to label me. Call me this, call me that, but I don't need a title because I know who I am in God. I know He called me, I know He equipped me, and I know He gave me the gift to encourage. And that's what I do. Yes, as a therapist, but even beyond that, encouragement is who I am because I am without a doubt a cheerleader for the Lord. Now growing up, I never made the cheerleading team. And let's just be honest, rhythm wasn't my strength. But what I do know is this, I am a cheerleader for the kingdom of God, because just like on the field, when the team is down, when it looks like they're losing, when everything says it's over, the cheerleaders don't stop. They keep cheering, they keep speaking life, they keep encouraging the team to push, to fight, to finish strong. And sis, that's what God called me to do. And maybe, just maybe, that's what he is calling you to do. To encourage, to uplift, to speak life, to remind somebody it's not over. God still has time, God still has a plan, and he still works miracles in the fourth quarter. So let me ask you this. What would finishing strong look like for you starting today? Because God didn't bring you this far to leave you unfinished. As we close this season, finish strong, finished healed, finished aligned, finished obedient. The scripture tells us the race is not given to the swift nor the strong, but to those who endure. And that's what this is about. Finishing strong isn't about being the fastest or the strongest. It's about staying in the race God gave you. If this episode spoke to you, don't keep it to yourself. Send it to another woman who needs that reminder. And go ahead and follow Step Out Sis. Because if you've been walking with me, you are not just a listener anymore. You are family. And sis, don't go too far. I'll be back next week with a special Mother's Day episode. And then we will return on June 8th for our summer series. So stay connected. We're just getting started. And with that, I will see you next week, right here on Step Out Sis.
